Bellevue, was founded in 1869 and was later named the satellite city and also known to be an economic hub of the East side of Washington. Bellevue in french means 'beautiful view and once you've seen the city you know why.

Bellevue has a little bit of everything, from prodigious high-rises in the middle of the city to the peaceful suburban areas for those who want to get away from the energetic city life.

With a population of approximately 120,000 people living in 13 distinguished neighborhoods, Bellevue is proudly Washington's fifth largest city. It's growing in population as well, since many are flocking to the area after having heard so many great things about living there.

With each neighborhood differing in what it has to offer, the consistent preference of residents buying a home seems to be the location of recreational facilities. There are many parks and other recreational features offered here that offer a blend of both outdoor and indoor activities. This also makes it a great place to raise children since there's so much to do and enjoy.

Working hard to keep the city of Bellevue a harmonious place, they have made many accommodations available to the residents who place priority in the quality of living in the city.

While Bellevue's downtown may be a frantic style of life, the majority of the city still holds the feeling of being a small town and is know to consistently have some of the top ranked schools in the country.

With approximately 50,000 houses in the Bellevue city limits, there are still more demands for housing and rentals in the area thanks to the flourishing economy and well paying jobs in the area.

Even with housing prices rising due to demand, the still growing economy has made living in Bellevue still affordable for raising a family. If you're looking for a new city in the Northwestern part of the country, you may want to consider adding this to your list of possibilities.

A Bit of History

San Jose City (better known as San Jose) is actually the second capital of Costa Rica. The original capital was cartago until it was moved in 1835. Around the year 1737 this city was known as 'Villa Nueva de la Boca del Monte del Valle de Abra'. A few years later the name was changed after the city's patron who was Saint Joseph.

There were many historic events that impacted Costa Rica's culture and San Jose's but the ones that made the most impact were the development of the coffee exports industry, the influence of the French revolution and the country's declaration of independence from Spain. Before the independence the country was split into two: the Democrats, who wanted the country to remain a Spanish territory, and the Republicans, who wanted to centralize the power and make Costa Rica an independent country. In 1823 there was a which ended up being won by Republicans as a result the capital was moved to San Jose and Costa Rica became an independent country.

Did You Know?

San Jose is located in the Central Valley of Costa Rica and is surrounded by large forested mountain ranges and some volcanoes. There are also green savannas, and working coffee plantations.

Many people find Toronto, Ontario's capital, to be a really ideal city. Though it has the highest population of any city in Canada, you would never know it. It is quietly influential and is a leading world city. It is the commerce capital of Canada, despite its sleepy facade. The city leads most others in their scholastic advancement and their technological production. These are the industries in which Toronto leads commerce.

The great thing about Toronto is its advanced way of thinking. The whole city is known for being especially liberal. It helps, too, that the city is so diverse. The crime rates are ridiculously low and the city is very clean and ecologically aware. It has made more than one 'Top Ten' list for the world's best cities.

Moving there would be a dream for some, but not if you are a person who dislikes the winter and longs for the extremely urban. The city still has some country roots and the population is not tightly packed. There are plenty of recreational trails, beaches, and parks. Keep in mind that the city is on the banks of two rivers, so there is a healthy interest in the environment.

The cool thing about Toronto is that it is not a one-note city. When you think of a city like Bruges, you think how it is really a medieval city. That is its focus. Toronto does not have a focus. Its architecture is from all different times, ranging from the space-age CN Tower to the classic Art Gallery of Ontario, to the Victorian Distillery District.

As with all cities, it is split up into districts. This is helpful for travelers who want to specify their tourism or who visit the city often and want to visit a new district every time. There are the different industrial areas, the port areas by the water, the fashion districts, sports districts, and residential areas.

The parks and beaches are lovely, too. Since there are so many beaches, you will not find yourself crowded out in the summer. There are plenty of water sports to play and a lot of sun to be had. As for parks, the best kept city secret is Cloud Gardens, which is a semi-enclosed park with an observatory. Many people do not even know it exists.

The city also has great cultural experiences. Their acting centers are renowned, with a very strong Shakespeare group. The Toronto Ballet houses some of the world's finest dancers, making it a distant fourth in ballet capitals. It also hosts many film festivals and has a healthy share of actors and directors.

The one thing Toronto is absolutely known for is it sports. Most people think of merely hockey, which IS its prime sport. However, Toronto also has baseball, soccer, basketball, and football teams, all very good. The Maple Leafs--the hockey team--provide a huge source of revenue for the city and make Toronto and Canada famous in sports. They are always the team to beat.

There is a lot that goes on in the City of Toronto, and a Toronto association has a lot to offer. There are also many contractors Toronto to assist you with any projects that you have.
