Tunisia – One Of Africa’s Best Holiday Destinations
It is no secret that places that become popular with tourists are popular because of trends. When famous celebrities are photographed soaking up the sun or sitting on a yacht in a particular area, that area immediately gains a massive leap in popularity and tourists flock to the latest fashionable holiday spot. The question is, why? Why do the celebrities go to that particular area? What is it about the area that draws people in to begin with?
Some countries are continually popular with tourists year on year. Places such as the French Riviera, Greece and Spain and its islands in the Mediterranean Sea are continuously popular jaunts for tourists due to their widespread appeal. There are other countries, though, that are also popular for other reasons, not least of which because they offer something that nowhere else is able to offer. Tunisia is one of these places; able to provide tourists with an experience that is different from anywhere else.
Tunisia's official name is the Tunisian Republic and is situated on the northern-most tip of Africa. Algeria and Libya surround Tunisia to the west and south-east respectively. While the southern part of Tunisia is mainly comprised of the Sahara Desert, the land around the desert is extremely fertile which helps with growing crops. Tunisia is also able to provide tourists with a massive eight hundred and ten miles of coastline with which to enjoy their holiday in the sun.
With such a massive coastline it is not surprising that Tunisia offers some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean. Although Port el-Kantaoui is the most popular beach in Tunisia, it is actually a tourist complex that was built in 1979 and based on the French town of Port Grimaud. Tunisia is also famous for its clear waters and coral beds making it a perfect venue for scuba diving. Along with Port el-Kantaoui, another great beach to go diving is Monastir situated on the central coast of Tunisia.
Some of the highest grossing films of the 20th Century were filmed in Tunisia. Films such as Star Wars: A New Hope and The Phantom Menace (21st Century), Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The English Patient were all filmed in the canyons, caves and cities of Tunisia. In order to find the locations it may be best searching the internet for advice as it can be tricky. One place that is easy to find is the Star Wars Hotel, also called Sidi Driss which is located in Matmata. A small part of the film Star Wars: A New Hope was filmed in the courtyard for this hotel and some of the props are still present to this day.

Luxor – The World’s Biggest Outdoor Museum
Luxor is located in Upper Egypt along the banks on the River Nile and is also the departure point for all Nile cruise trips. Visitors get there by taking direct flights coming from the UK or via Cairo. On the other hand, you can use conventional trains that go overnight from Cairo 400 miles to the north and onwards to Aswan.
Even though it's a starting point for Nile cruise trips, holidaymakers who choose to stay at one of the hotels in Luxor should have lots to visit on account of the array of archaeological treasures in the place. The Nile makes its way through the midst of Luxor and the individual river banks are known as the East Bank and West Bank.
The East Bank is where almost all the hotels are found and the principal points of interest in a historical mind-set are the Temples of Karnak and Luxor which are to the north and south of the urban centre, roughly 2 miles apart. Likewise found on the East Bank are the Luxor Museum and Museum of Mummification. The Temple of Luxor is likewise worth going to at night with atmospheric lighting and less holidaymakers, it possesses a distinctive experience.
The West Bank is thought of as the entry for the Valley of the Kings that may be most well known for being the place that the Tomb of Tutankhamen was found by Howard Carter in 1922. Another prominent site is the Valley of the Queens which includes the Tomb of Nefertari amongst its treasures.
There are also plenty of other spots of interest but a highly encouraged activity is an early balloon journey over the ruins of the West Bank presenting travellers a different point of view over the wonderful age-old riches on offer when they visit Luxor. If you adore historic Egypt, Luxor is the place to check out.
The popular destination of Luxor is the perfect destination for anyone with an interest in the legacy of Ancient Egypt.

Gold Reef City lets you take a sneak peep into the yesteryears of Johannesburg. Here, you are allowed to visit the mineshaft as and also the more contemporary modes of entertainment. Overview Of Flights To Cape Town
Cape Town International is South Africa's second largest airport and is a major Tourism Gateway for the Western Cape. Approximately 7 million passengers travel through Cape Town International on a yearly basis.
If you're travelling to Cape then Cape Town International is your first point of entry. Dozens of airlines fly in and out of the Airport and is usually the first place foreign visitors see when travelling to South Africa.
The too most sightseeing spot on your itinerary should be the royal Table Mountain. At this World Heritage spot, there is a cable car, which will take you to the highest peak of the mountain, which is at 1036 meters above MSL. From here, you can enjoy the wonderful view of land and sea. You can also enjoy spectacular sun set views from a restaurant and bar known as the Cableway Cocktail Bar. If you are interested in adventurous sports then you may try rock climbing in the Table Mountain.
Everyone should see the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens which aims to protect indigenous plants and has succeeded in growing an impressive 6000 different species.
The Robben Island is another must see World Heritage site. It is famous historically for its symbol of anti-apartheid. It has been named after the 'seals', in Dutch. Situated at the entrance to the Table Bay, the Robben Island has now been transformed to a museum, which takes just 30 minutes to reach by boat.
The famous V & A Waterfront also demands a mention in your itinerary. This place is a hub of markets selling crafts, interesting shops, good theatres and several eateries and bars. The other two important attractions located here are Maritime Museum and Two Oceans Aquarium.
Flower lovers must visit the Good Hope Nature Reserve, located at Cape Point. It is famous for its diversity of flowers. Cape Point also has a lighthouse, which is considered the country's largest.
The beaches of Cape Town are a favourite destination for tourists and locals. On the Atlantic front, you can lounge on the beautiful, clean beaches of Camps Bay, Llandudno and Clifton.
Those who love shopping will find their haven in Cape Town as its markets are quite cheap. There are several interesting items that you can take as gifts for those back at home, or for your own house.
Lovers of history must pay a visit to the Castle of Good Hope, which is the oldest building in the country. It was built between the years 1666 and 1679. The pentagonal castle is very well maintained, and it tells about the arrival of Jan van Riebeeck and the country's martial history. Also see the striking dungeons, the blacksmith, and the lovely dolphin pool. You can see the Key Ceremony, if you come there by 10am; and may see the Change of Guards if you come at 12 am. If you are lucky enough, or unlucky, you may even see a ghost.
Put time aside to do the wine routes: Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Constantia. The wine estates in the Cape are some of the best in the world. Most of these are open for wine tasting and the wine makers are more than happy to ship their precious bottles to wherever it is that you may live on the globe. The cuisine in Cape Town is superb. Linger on the veranda at Constantia Uitsig, sample the best Franschoek has to offer at Quartiere Francais or nibble on a scrumptious seafood platter at On The Rocks in Blouberg.
Visitors to Cape Town should definitely take a look at Cape Point, where the Portuguese explorer Bartholomew Dias stopped in--88. It's an awe-inspiring sight and it is hard to believe how sailors crossed these dangerous waters so long ago. Additional things to see are the Dutch East India Company's Gardens, the Kalk Bay Caves, and much, much more.

Overview Of Air Canada
In September'37, Air Canada commenced with the name of Trans-Canada Airlines. The first 50 minute flight was on a Lockheed L-10A. It flew from Vancouver to Seattle, carrying some mail and only two people. The airline became popular very soon and Trans-Canada Airlines became Canada's national airline, by the year'64. Around the same time, it was renamed as Air Canada. In the year'89, Air Canada was privatized. Around the same time, the airlines also took over the Canadian Airlines International.
Today, Air Canada is more than 70 years old, and is largest passenger-service airline in Canada. Every year, it carries nearly 32 million passengers to 170 places across the globe. Air Canada also ranks--th among the airlines, across the world.
Air Canada believes that travel should be convenient for its customers and therefore it is the only airline that offer flight passes. Flight passes allow the passenger to manage their travel online. These flight passes can be obtained either in the form of pre-purchased flight credits or a monthly subscription that provides you with unlimited flights in certain sectors.
The airline is one of the best in the world, and this is the feedback from none other than Air Canada's own customers. Air Canada was given the title of the 'Best Airline in North America' by a survey that was conducted from August 2006 and June 2007. The Airline Industry Achievement Award was also presented to the airline in 2007 for being a market leader. Air Canada already has several 'Best Airline in Canada and North America' under its belt, awarded by readers of various travel magazines.
Besides working hard to keep their customers content and pleased, Air Canada also works hard enough to play their part in keeping the environment and nature preserved. They have initiated this process already by expending billions; and investing money in new aircrafts, which would save more energy. Air Canada has successfully reduced the emission level of their flights, by 28%. By the year 2020, the airline also has the ambition of bettering the efficiency of their fuel by 25%.
Following the green initiative, the airline has also launched several green programs in-house, and many recycling programs, on board. They have formed a team with an attention-grabbing program, called the 'zerofootprint'. Through this program, the passengers are allowed to voluntarily equalize the carbon emissions from the flights, taken by them, by being involved in the reforestation program in the country.
Even though Air Canada is undoubtedly one of the largest airlines in the world, it still requires the assistance of other airlines, to provide its customers with a well-connected and broad network of worldwide destinations.
