Texas Pearl – San Antonio

You must visit the pearl of Southern Texas, San Antonio. If you have not already visited it, I have really nothing else to say to you.

San Antonio has a population of more than one million citizens. The population is increasing and it's really a melting pot of many cultures and nations. Here, you'll encounter Mexicans, Native Americans, Afro Americans and others. More than twenty millions of tourists visit San Antonio every year. I mean, there must be something special about this city, otherwise people would not visit it. So, what is so special about San Antonio?

San Antonio definitely doesn't look like the rest of Texas. Take note of that one. I mean, it is the center of so many various cultural and economical aspects. When you compare it to the rest of Texas, one can definitely say that San Antonio has the best downtown and street life generally. Nightlife is so spread that you won't have problem having a great night wherever your hotel may be. Also, every year, there are so many of these interesting festivals happening. San Antonio never sleeps.

You have probably heard of the all mighty Alamo? It's one of the many sites and exhibits that is offered to tourists and visitors who wish to enjoy their time. By the way, about two million people visit the Alamo every year. Also, if you are interested in getting souvenirs, you can check out the River Walk, it has many souvenir shops.

Hey, if even that does not interest you, you can always go and watch a game of San Antonio Spurs. This city really has everything you would want from a city. Let's just mention other attractions like the Villita or The Aztec Theater. You can also visit the Blue Star Complex or one of the 2 theme parks. San Antonio has anything a family would want.

What's next?? Well it's time to find a place to stay while you are there. San Antonio hotels are generally very nice. You really need to choose a place that you'll likely visit everyday or every night. I would choose a San Antonio hotel near the Riverwalk. I really loved this area and ate at the places there every night.
