This is by far one of the best events for kids in the entire Tropical North Queensland and it is coming up from September 20th to October 1st and the good news is that it is free and being offered through the Queensland Museum South Bank. This event is one that is designed for kids to come and experience science and all the fun and messiness that goes along with it. Throughout this two week long event children can come in and experience one or all of the different centers for learning on the second floor.

Magnified is a great way to allow kids to get up close and personal with everything. Taking a closer look at the world around them and even at their own skin under some of the most innovated magnification devices available they can learn and explore and even check out the magnification trail. In the Lab section, children can come in and look around, creating their own toys and predictions and testing out scientific method and drawing conclusions. Some of the most basic of scientific techniques can all be explored in this setting that makes learning about scientific method fun. Creating their own inventions will help them to put their newly acquired knowledge to work.

The Science Circus Show is a fun and exciting way to learn more about science circus tricks and how they work and the Tracey McBean section will allow young scientists to take a look at some of the incredible inventions created by a kid just like them. With Earth, Water, Wind, & Fire kids can become more excited by color, explosions, and chemistry. Filled with information about the different states of matter this display is put on by the Young Scientists of Australia and is fun for the whole family.

The Liquid Nitrogen Show is fun and allows children the opportunity to learn more about one of the most amazing substances on earth. It can boil, it can vaporize and much, much more. Come and find out all that this substance can really do.

If you visit the Tropical North Queensland during this period of two weeks or if you live close enough to consider making a day trip or stay over a night or two, you'll be amazed at the ceremony eye opening that brings science to life and allows children to discover the wonders of science world in which they live.
