As a city break destination Glasgow is not usually at the top of a lot of people's must visit lists, however recently Glasgow has appeared on the most influential destination guides as just that a must see, must visit destination. There is also the Science Mall, which includes the Science Centre, Glasgow Tower and the Glasgow Imax Theatre. Being an old city there are many interesting buildings, architecture and museums all of which have free entry.

Loch Lomond and the Highlands can be reached easily from Glasgow as can Stirling, Edinburgh and Ayrshire. If you wish to see more of the surrounding areas it is advisable to rent a car.

Glasgow is a surprise destination choice however it is easy to see why. There is so much to see and do during the day and at night that you will wish you could stay longer.
